The word Jadd is not used under the heading Buniyaad topic in the book. It is used under the heading 'Takrao' topic.
Buniyaad means foundation.
Kya Khanna no.1 ki bunyaad khanna no. 9 hai ? Agar khanna no. 9 mein kharab grah hai to khanna no 1 ko bhi kharab karege and vice versa?
Jadd means Roots. In Lk-52 page 122 : Rin Pitra ke grah : Janm kundli mein jis grah ki jadd ( uski apni rasi) mein dusman grah bhet kar ......
Now coming back to our Dristi concept :
Takrao : 1-->8, 6-->1 : (pg115-116,lk52) :Here irrespective of friendship-enmity planet in Khanna no. 1 will conflict with the planets in Khana no. 8 even to such a extent that Jadd could also be destroyed and vice versa for 6H to 1H.
Now, for eg moon in 1H and jupiter in 6H, than does it means that jupiter will conflict will moon and jupiter will destroy 4H (jadd of moon).

EXCEPTION RULE IN TAKRAO DRISTI.

Page 111 lk-52 is very important to understand.
It will be very helpful if you explain this page.
In this page text says that 2H & 9H will not have takrao as clouds will strike
with mountain and rain will result and many other concepts are touched here.
This page is indeed very important.

SOME HOUSES ARE CONSIDERED AUSPICIOUS.
Based ON THIS PRINCIPLE LORDS OF 2h , 9h , 10 h,if
placed in 9h , 4h , and 5h respectively and they help each other.
Similarly 3,6, 8 , 12 houes are leen (from where hidden or
unanticipated problem arise) .As such if lord of 8H is placed
in 3H , it does not create Takrab situation.
You may refer verse 7 ch 11 of Jatakparisat and verses 39,42 and 49
of chapter 14 0f Prasanmarg.
